PTA Officers

President: Emily Harold & Anu Rajakumar
Leads and supports the full executive board, serves as the primary liaison to school leadership, and sets the tone for the PTA community. Responsible for governance, approvals, and ensuring a smooth year-to-year transition. Represents YCS at district meetings and keeps the organization running with heart and purpose.

Treasurer: Geoff Cole & Dahlia Weinger
Manages all PTA finances—budgeting, reimbursements, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Keeps the board and community informed on the financial health of the organization.

Recording Secretary: Jihan Garces
Records and distributes meeting minutes, tracks votes, maintains governance archives, and manages shared organizational documents.

VP Community Growth & Fundraising: Erica Lopez
Leads donor outreach initiatives, local business and community partnerships, grant opportunities, and new family welcome initiatives that may grow PTA revenue and/or community visibility.

VP Major Fundraising Events: Laura D’Amico & Ronya Gordan
Plans and executes the PTA's largest fundraising events: the Fall Festival and Spring Benefit. Responsible for logistics, vendors, volunteers, and run-of-show to ensure these events generate meaningful revenue for the school.

VP Minor Events: Christine Mendez & Heather Walker
Organizes and runs community-building events throughout the year including International Fest, Movie Night, Book Fair, Snack Fridays, Pizza in the Park, and Celebration of the Arts. Focuses on creating welcoming, inclusive experiences for all YCS families.

VP Parent Relations: Deanna Bell & Jessica Luck
The connective tissue of the PTA. Coordinates class parent communication and fosters community and inclusivity among families across all grades.

VP Communications: 
Creates a communications strategy for the PTA to ensure families are consistently informed, engaged, and represented across all channels.

VP Technology: Matteo Cocchini & Sarah Girner
Maintains the PTA website, shared digital platforms, event technology tools, email lists, and login/password documentation for smooth year-over-year handoffs. Also supports audio/visual needs at events.
