In addition to being selected as an NYC DOE Showcase School for the second year in a row, YCS also received an excellent NYC 2015-16 School Quality Snapshot report from the DOE. Our strong rating is based on the strength of our teachers, administrators and staff and our students excellent test scores, which showed a 20% improvement over the previous year’s State Test results.
