Please fill out the NYC DOE School Survey!
Each year, all parents, teachers, and students in grades 6-12 take the NYC School Survey. The survey is aligned to the DOE’s Framework for Great Schools. It is designed to collect important information about each school’s ability to support student success. School leaders use feedback from the survey to reflect and make improvements to schools and programs. Results from the survey used to help measure school quality, and the classes that achieve 100% participation will win a party! (Make sure you let your teacher know you did the survey.) Help YCS by filling this out today!

2019 YCS Auction Donations and Support Needed!
The YCS Spring Auction is our largest fundraiser of the year, and we need YOUR help!  Every dollar we raise helps support the valuable enrichment programs all our children enjoy and that are not funded by the Department of Education. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Get Your Tickets Our 2019 Auction will be held on Saturday, March 23rd – it’s the biggest party of the year so get your tickets today!  Click here to buy tickets now or send this form and your payment to the PTA office. Tickets will also be available at drop-off every morning and during the parent teacher conferences!

Donate a bottle of wine – If you have any bottles of wine laying around the house we will take them!  This year we will have a “Grab A Bottle of Wine” at the auction so we need as many as we can collect. These can be dropped off at the PTA office. If you can’t make it to the PTA office, you can email Kate at khrobsky@me.com to coordinate a drop off.

Baskets – Final call to donate to your grade’s auction basket! Please have your items to the PTA office by Wednesday (3/20). For grade themes see below. A BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has donated amazing items, there are going to be some very lucky bidders!!! Contact your class class parents or Amanda Wells, amanda.wells@yorkvillecommunityschool.org with questions.

5th grade:
Kitchen Goddess: Wine, Olive oil, vinegar, cooking utensils, apron, fancy coffee or tea, cookies, fancy salt, olives etc., gift cards, baking stone, chocolate, coffee voucher, pizza voucher and so on. (Don’t forget – the kids might like to join in.)
4th grade: Pamper Yourself: facial, massage, candle, soaps, body lotion, hand lotion, nail care, pumice stone, pedicure, manicure, aftershave balm, shaving cream, razor, tweezers, etc…
3rd grade: NYC City: T-shirt, Subway pass, museum passes, postcards, coffee voucher, pizza voucher, movie tickets, Empire State pass, Zoo, etc…
2nd grade: Sports: Modell gift card, tickets to a game, a signed baseball, a new jersey, sports socks, sports shorts, track pants, yoga shirts, yoga mat, a visitor pass yoga, Soul Cycle, Equinox, Personal trainer, etc…
1st grade: Birthday gift: Wrapping paper, scissors, tape, ribbon, birthday cards, gift cards, unopened toys and gifts, etc…
Kindergarten: Family Fun Night: Popcorn, snacks, movie tickets, DVDs, board games, show tickets, etc…
Pre K: Arts & Crafts: Play-Doh, glitter crayons, markers, gel pens, glue, variety of paper, googly eyes, etc…
