Our first YSC PTA Event was a huge success.  The Fall Festival took place at the school on Friday, October 30, 2009 after school.  The children all enjoyed the costume parade, storytelling, face painting, cupcake decorating , popcorn, cotton candy and of course pumpkin decorating.  Many elected officials also attended. 

Dear Fall Festival Volunteers,

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your dedication to making our first school fundraiser and community event such a great success. I wish I could have been there to see it all come together. I have seen a ton of pictures and the kids all look like they were having such a great time. I hope this is just the 1st of many successful, exciting and fun events for our new school community. I truly appreciate all the time each of you took out of your busy schedules to make the day a success.
